Why be a Core3 Pilates Professional?
We have modernized how you will learn and integrate this work with the addition of our online interactive component, with a focus on how to teach the work and how to teach to the body in front of you, and with all the Extras. We feel confident you will exit Core3Pilates with an ability to teach effectively even before graduating. We also set ourselves apart by implementing our tool, the ab activator, and how it applies to breathing and core engagement as well as alignment. Gaining the mastery of Core3's three principles will enforce a change in each client's body beyond merely just strengthening and stretching. A true balance is achieved through the expert strengthening and balance it brings which often is easily overlooked but leads to expert organization where great changes happen.
We offer a higher level program that goes beyond current teacher-training programs.
We want to give you many tools to become an expert. This is not a program for teachers looking to simply teach a group fitness class, but to teach a class that changes bodies and changes lives.
Core 3 Pilates follows PMA's International Teacher Training Accredited Program* guidelines closely.
Our program focuses on expert teaching and works with great care to address each students needs. We are completely invested in helping you attain your goals by preparing you to assist your own clients in making profound changes in their bodies.
*We are in the process of acquiring accreditation with ITAAP for 2025
Insights & Ahas from Pilates Teacher Trainees:
"this is a thorough and informative course for anyone interested in learning about the Pilates Method, either as a student or teacher. Melissa is bringing the breath back to the work (!) and guides us to understand it's importance as a foundation to the work/the Pilates Method of Conditioning. You will learn the necessary musculature of the "core" and it's intimate relationship with our most basic breathing apparatus; the diaphragm. Then you will begin to explore this relationship in your own body, and if you desire, how best to teach this to a client. Melissa is so fluent in Pilates that she realizes everyone learns differently and gives her students many options to approach this often daunting topic.”
“Module 2 starts to not only address Pilates equipment, the reformer, but also dives deeper into how to develop as a teacher of the Method. Topics include what type of clients would benefit from Pilates, how to address individual needs of each client, and also touches base on how to start addressing teaching group classes. I had a terrific time in this module; it was packed with movement and information. Melissa is a natural born leader and has exceptional command of the Pilates Method. Watching her encourage her teachers to be lifelong learners while maintaining a nurturing and supportive atmosphere is inspiring and contagious! Mind over Body is a great place to learn and grow; a beautiful mixture of warmth and vitality.”
“I decided to get into her Core3 Pilates program for Advanced teacher training. I am thrilled and amazed by her knowledge and her enthusiasm to help become the best pilates teachers in the world with knowledge of anatomy and body mechanics.”
